With this series, I wanted to explore the powerful experience of spiritual awakening, using light, color, and shape in ways that feel captivating. This shows a calm human figure surrounded by vibrant, swirling, almost kaleidoscopic backgrounds. This contrast, for me, suggests both the inner challenges and the huge sense of connection to everything that can happen during these deep shifts in awareness.
I use circles often because they symbolize wholeness and the moments of enlightenment that can emerge from disorientation. Flowing fabrics in the images might suggest how consciousness can feel fluid and changing during awakening moments. Seeing the calm person within all the surrounding dynamic energy shows how it's possible to find peace even during big inner or outer transformations. My process blends my own photographs (especially of reflective glass objects) and original paintings with digital tools. I layer these together, hoping to find a way to visually express those spiritual experiences that are so hard to put into words, moments where reality feels like it's breaking apart and coming together all at once, and the usual line between 'me' and the universe blurs into just a feeling of clear, bright awareness.
