Reflection: Of The Unknown

At a photoshoot there’s often “down” time - the creative director is planning for next set, stylists are moving things, assistants are testing the lights - so I always have my film camera with me to capture things here and there. Then months later, after having forgotten about the shots, remember to get the film developed. By then I’ve already lost memory of what I took photos of, but I’m not eager to find out what the pictures are, just excited to get them developed. It’s like the unknown or uncertainty that most of us fear of, we can actually just relax, not be eager, but excited for what’s to come.
