This series feels very close to where I am right now in my own life, exploring that delicate, sometimes uncertain, but also precious feeling of being 'in-between'. It reflects my current state of spiritual transition: standing in a space after having worked through and released old wounds [Optional addition: "from the past"], while still discovering and figuring out my path forward. For these images, I drew from my photography background, blending my photos with painting elements and digital techniques/AI assistance.
I aimed to create contemplative, atmospheric scenes, often featuring a single figure. They might exist in 'liminal' environments (places where reality and dreams seem to mix) surrounded by symbolic touches hinting at internal transformation. For me, these works hold both the vulnerability and the quiet promise that comes during spiritual awakening or any major life transition. They try to visualize that unique moment when you've let go of what no longer serves you, but you're still patiently waiting to fully grasp what lies ahead.
