Nature Walk
“I find that it’s very important for me to stop every now and then and get recharged and reinspired. The beauty of nature has been one of the great inspirations in my life.”
⁃ Jim Henson
It’s been 7 months since the hysterectomy surgery, I finally feel good again. James was surprised when I suggested to go to a botanical garden for a morning walk. Now is the season of shedding old life and new life is blooming.
I rarely go on walks. The eagerness to arrive at the destination made the process unenjoyable. “How many more steps to get to the top?” Something clicked after 7 months of rest. I am sure the biggest reason is the improvement of my health. Just being able to walk without losing breath makes a huge difference. Having enough nutrients in the body helps with my mental health too. I am able to process the thoughts in better way and live in the present moment much more.
James and Henri like to stop at different plants and study them - lightly rub the leaves, smell them, and sometimes even taste the fruits. It’s fun watching them. I like to watch people being themselves.
